Changes to competition prize allocations – Effective 1st February

We are excited to present the updated prize payouts for YMMA competitions. For example, the setup for Saturday 1st Feb will be:

  • 2 NTPs (one each nine)
  • 72 or more entrants – 2 grades*
  • 105 or more entrants – 3 grades*
  • Prizes down to fifth place in each grade
  • Minimum prize, get your $8 entry fee back
  • Generally, each placing will receive more prize money*

(* – presuming there are no eagles on the day!)

These changes have been ratified by the YMMA Committee this week and will be implemented from 1st February.  If you have any questions regarding these payouts or any other competition conditions, please contact myself or a member of the Match Committee.

Scratch Match Play – Round 1

The qualifiers for Round 1 of Men’s Scratch Match Play have been entered into the timesheet for Saturday 8th February.  Please check the time below that you have been allocated.  If you are unable to play at this time, you may coordinate an alternative time on the same day with the other playing partners.

11:29 – Josh McDonell vs Eddie Shi, Gary Roza vs Brad Hutchieson

Bunker renovation progress

Bunker works have been progressing this week on the Nursery front nine (holes 1-9) with sub-base and sand being installed in many of the new bunkers and turf being laid on the surrounds – I think you’ll agree they are looking fantastic so far.  Click here to see some progress photos

Ladies Classic entries

The 2025 Ladies Classic registration form is in the ladies locker room foyer, open to 6 & 7 day members and will be played on:

16th February – Stableford, Homestead course,
23rd February – Par, Valley course
and 2nd March – Stroke, Nursery course

 

Temporary local rule update

Areas where bunkers have been filled in, whether they are marked with a white stake or not, are now to be treated as GUR (non-compulsory) unless specifically marked as compulsory GUR.  Relief MAY be taken under Rule 16.
