Dear Members,

We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding competition fees and house accounts at Yering Meadows Golf Club.

Effective immediately, competition fees will now be automatically deducted from your house accounts at the completion of each competition. To ensure a smooth process, please keep your house accounts topped up with sufficient funds. We recommend maintaining a minimum balance of $20 at all times to avoid any issues.

Please note the following key points:

  • Automatic Deduction: Competition fees will be automatically debited from your house account after each competition. This means you no longer need to pay competition fees before your round.
  • Account Balance: If your house account does not have enough funds to cover the competition fee, your account will go into a negative balance and be flagged in red. Shannon will follow up with members who have negative balances each week.
  • Monitoring Your Account: We encourage all members to regularly check their house account balance. You can do this by visiting the golf shop, the pro shop, or by checking online. Keeping your account topped up will help avoid any disruptions.
  • No Pre-Payment: Please do not attempt to pay competition fees prior to your round. Since the fees are automatically debited at the end of the competition, pre-payment will result in being charged twice.
  • Visitor Competition Fees: Please note that visitors are still required to pay their competition fees prior to the start of the competition.

This automatic deduction process aims to streamline operations and eliminate instances where your house account may have been double charged or, more frequently, not charged at all.

We appreciate your cooperation in keeping your house account funded and up-to-date. If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to our golf shop  staff.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Best regards,

James Veitch
