The members have emerged from the cold Melbourne winter to come out and support another successful Mixed event on Sunday 18th August. We had 28 entrants playing a 4-person Ambrose team on a lovely sunny day with the course in fabulous condition.
First place was Deb Taylor, Rob Somers, Rachelle Pears and Phil Pears off a handicap 13.75 with Nett 59.25 ! They were awarded a selection of wines from our major Mixed event sponsor, Cosmo Wines.
2nd place with a close Nett 59.625 was the team of Kerry Jennings, Nigel Chiswell, Karen McMahon and Chris Hatton off a handicap of 8.375. Chris contributed with his spectacular form again by achieving a solo Eagle on the 11th hole! His first at the Yering course!
The members enjoyed a BBQ after their game and are now looking forward to our next MIXED BOARD EVENT (The Heather Johnson) on September 22nd. Book your partners!
