Road Rehabilitation – Victoria Road, Yering

Second Stage – (Between Coldstream West Road and the driveway of property no. 193)

As part of the Council’s 2023/24 Capital Expenditure Program, we wish to advise that road rehabilitation works along Victoria Road (Between Coldstream West Road and the driveway of property no. 193) will be commencing on Wednesday 13th March 2024.

The traffic volumes along Victoria Road have significantly increased. This combined with the significantly wet period over the last few years have caused deterioration of the existing road pavement. This project is design to rehabilitate and strengthen the road pavement.

The works are scheduled to take approximately two (2) weeks, weather permitting and are expected to be completed by Thursday 28th March 2024.

To expediate the project our contractor will initiate a partial road closure which limits through traffic but allows local access to properties. Delays are expected, with though traffic to be directed around the works

The Golf Club

The Yering Meadows Golf Club formerly known as the Croydon Golf Club was established in 1925 and over the years has earned the reputation of being the premier golf club in the eastern suburbs.

Now located on 330 acres in the Yarra Valley, the World Class course designed by Architect Ross Watson is arguably the finest in the area. Yering Meadows is renowned as a very friendly club and the clubhouse facilities provide the ideal surroundings for the relaxation and enjoyment of members and guests.

Golf Course

Membership and Competitions

Yering Meadows conducts members golf competitions for Men on a Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday; for Women on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday; and for Men and Women on Public Holidays. There are different tiers of memberships which include elementary membership, Full membership, Corporate Membership, 2 Day Membership and 5 Day Membership.
